About
I am Kim Kanoy, of Kanoy Creative, Inc. and I have one goal in mind when designing … client satisfaction–guaranteed. This all begins with communication and trust. Living spaces are personal, so our relational collaboration will be one of a close nature. My natural ability to connect, listen, and communicate with clients results in defining, meeting, and exceeding their needs. Creative, innovative, and perceptive—her design acumen is apparent as she meets the challenge of every project head on! My design style is clean, modern, functional, but eclectic with rich natural textures and historic elements intermingled–including a passion for using meaningful bespoke/heirloom objects–a style keenly sensed through an artistic eye for color and composition. My approach to interior design and styling is customizing and creating the ultimate comfort and functionality an environment can possess, while providing aesthetic beauty that inspires, creates and elevates memorable experiences. My innate talent is enhanced by backgrounds in art history and graphic design. A successful business owner for many years and being from High Point, I have worked closely with furniture industry clients at the International Home Furnishings Market–first through graphic design and showroom sales, then delving into interior design/styling. Kanoy Creative, Inc. is located in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. Call 336.688.5791 or email kim@kanoycreative.com

As for graphic design, she has a particular penchant for logo design. A logo defines and states everything in an instant. It must succinctly define the company and brand in one glance. Kim excels at defining these conditions and delivers great design.
Kim Kanoy, Principal: Beliefs –
“Less is more;” Authenticity in people is of the highest value; Everything happens for a reason; Laughter is the best medicine; Smiles are contagious; Home IS where the heart is; Imperfections are perfection; You don’t have to have a recipe to cook; Age is just a number; Long walks in nature are meditative; Music is food for the soul; A good book is a great journey.
Floral design and its photography are also a hobby Kim enjoys. Like her design process, she puts thought into it in order to include meaning, not only beauty. “In my opinion, all spaces feel more welcoming with the inclusion of nature/plants.” The photo shown below is an arrangement of yellow roses (symbolizing friendship), hellebores (symbolizing serenity, tranquility and peace), and blue indigo (symbolizing love and beauty).
